BURNISHED BRASS
A Visual Record Of The Hemel Hempstead Band

Burnished Brass is a short documentary, produced by the band with the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Shot in 2006, the film directed by Adam Duncan and narrated by Richard Hawley, details the history of the band and shows how the current band is working on behalf of the local community and includes interviews with both members and supporters.

A book 'The History of the Hemel Hempstead Band' by Barbara Overhead is also available together with the re-release on CD of some of the bands past recordings.
